You are invited to join us for our Downtown PBL luncheon, on Wednesday, April 26th at the University Club in Downtown Portland. Our guest speaker will be Jill Viggiano.

Jill Viggiano spent 19 years working in commercial real estate before retiring to become a full- time mom. As an active volunteer, Jill couldn’t help but raise her hand and take on leadership roles in the community.

Luke Pinneo at Downtown PBL, July 22, 2015

July 16, 2015

luke-profile-600x402 copyYou are invited to join us for our Downtown PBL luncheon on Wednesday, July 22nd at the Downtown University Club of Portland.

“In February 2010, Luke Pinneo quit his job at a well known financial institution in Denver Colorado, bought a one way ticket to Port-Au-Prince, beginning a two month journey that would in many ways re-direct the course of his life. Not knowing fully what he would encounter but trusting the calling to “just go,” Luke and a close friend immediately began work establishing a home base for a micro-finance institution called Esperanza, as well as aiding in the installations of the over a dozen large scale solar powered, water purification units.

Feeling the deep impact of offering instant access to safe water for thirsty communities all across the beautiful country of Haiti, it was in this experience where World Thirst, a micro finance institution focused exclusively on delivering safe water through small business creation was born.”

Please make plans to join us for lunch to hear Luke share his life story.

Space is limited and an RSVP is REQUIRED

The fee for lunch is $20.00

Jeff Martin to Speak at University Club PBL, 2/27/13

February 23, 2013

Jeff_PBLYou are invited to join us for our Downtown PBL luncheon on Wednesday, February 27th at the University Club, 11:45-1:15 pm. Our guest speaker will be Jeff Martin.

Jeff Martin is a longtime creative executive who has dedicated the last 9 years of his career to developing and producing films that inspire, challenge, and transform.

Most recently he produced UnDivided, a powerful documentary about the unlikely friendship of an at-risk urban high school and an affluent suburban church. UnDivided presents an inspiring blueprint for transforming kids and schools in need.

While engaged in his role as Producer in UnDivided, the team at SouthLake Church and Jeff formed a new non-profit organization called Be|UnDivided whose mission is to inspire, encourage and equip churches to support the American public school system.

From 2006 -2009 his focus was Executive Producer on the award winning film, “Lord, Save Us From Your Followers.” Lord Save Us has been hailed as a film like no other – a documentary that challenges, inspires, entertains and provokes – all the while being considered a fair and honest effort to help the church, and those around us.

Make plans to join us and listen to Jeff talk about his experiences making these films and how his personal faith story has been impacted.

Register now. RSVP is required and the fee for lunch is $20.00
