Join us for our April 18th ONE Lunch to hear from guest speaker Carl Talton.

Carl is the former Executive Chair and CEO of the Portland Family of Funds and its affiliate United Fund Advisors currently serving  in an ex-officio capacity.

He is the former Vice President of Government Affairs, Economic Development, Community Development and Business Development for Portland General Electric where he retired in 2003. Prior to PGE he served 25 years with Pacific Power and Light where he served in numerous executive roles including the Senior Public Affairs Representative and Director of Retail Business Operations.

His community and civic activities include 10 years on Oregon’s Economic Development Commission and 15 years on the Portland Development Commission including 3 terms as Chairman. He has a 40 year record of extensive community service, initiating and serving on the boards of numerous civic and community based organizations focused on economic development, housing development, health issues and education.

Current and recent board activities include the Northwest Health Foundation, Concordia University Council of Trustees, Governors Metro Regional Solutions Committee, San Francisco Federal Reserve Community Advisory Council, Black Investment Consortium for Economic Progress, NNE Economic Development Alliance, Albina Head Start, NNE STEAM Coalition, and National Community Fund.

Carl was born and raised in the Portland area and resides with his family in NNE Portland where he has lived since early childhood.

We’ll be meeting at our new location at the Courtyard by Marriott.
