Bob worked in the for-profit world for 28 years before losing his job in May, 2016. He served a member of the Oregon Legislature during the 2017 legislative session and helped coordinate the Oregon Prayer Breakfast. He has also been a Young Life leader for high school and middle school kids for 29 years.

Currently Bob is Vice President for the National Christian Foundation in Portland, has been married to Beth for 26 years, has 22 & 20-year old sons and a 17-year-old daughter.
