Kellie Coates Gilbert to Speak at Downtown PBL 10/24/12October 18, 2012
You are invited to join us for lunch on Wednesday October 24th to hear guest speaker Kellie Coates Gilbert.
Kellie Coates Gilbert grew up on a sheep ranch in southern Idaho. The small town of Carey, Idaho had no library and no bookstore; the bi-weekly bookmobile provided the only avenue to books. Kellie and her grandmother would spend much time there feeding her insatiable appetite for books and stories.
Kellie attended Boise State University and spent many of her adult years pursuing a sensible legal career and raising two boys. For a majority of her career, she was employed as a paralegal for two different law firms in Portland, Oregon.
Join us for lunch and listen to Kellie tell her story of how God heard the quiet prayers of a woman who dared to dream big and ask her Lord for the outrageous. In early 2011, Kellie signed her first book contract. She now lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and works from home writing novels.
RSVP is required and the cost of lunch is $20.00. Click link below to register yourself and your guests.
